DPIA
Also known as: Data Protection Impact Assessment
A structured assessment of a processing activity that identifies the rights and risks involved for Data Principals and the measures taken to manage them. It is among the additional obligations attaching to Significant Data Fiduciaries.
A DPIA is a decision record rather than a form: its value is naming who assessed the risk, what they concluded and what mitigation was accepted. Software can structure and preserve that judgement but cannot make it.
